It's that time again! It's the Deer moon, a time dedicated to observing, grace, alertness, and being aware of the environment around you. 

I applied to this. I was very aware of the Greenskeeper Gathering today. Which is why this journal is a bit late....

So, to get this out sort of quickly, I'm going to -try- to just list my recent events! 

First off, I'm opening my own little shop! I've decided upon the name of Guiding Lights Craft! To put it shortly, It consists of leathercrafts, garments, decor, and other fantasy LARP supplies. (Including weapons, and eventually armor.) As I mentioned before, I'll most likely only sell at one Event of the year, and sell to other buyers the rest of the year. I have a lot of support for all the work I'm doing. I just wanted to say that I appreciate it immensely and I couldn't be accomplishing this much with out all this help. From those of you who are helping me personally, you know who you are, and all my supportive watchers; Thank you. Thank you so much! 

Speaking of these wonderful watchers! There are lots of new faces! Welcome! I'm proud to have your support and time, I will return the favor to the best of my ability! 

Since my last update, nothing incredibly new has happened. I'm completely swamped getting ready for Rakis this year! Working full time, crafting on my lunch break and crafting when I get home is leaving me exhausted. I'm often frustrated with the little progress I've been making. This sort of kills my motivation, and I end up playing games. Thank goodness for Vhaeragohst. He motivates me to keep going. Of course he also encourages me to play video games, he also creates unique ways for me to craft whilst gaming. 

I was beginning to wonder about doing some point commissions! To put it simply, I'm willing to do a boat load of little 100 point commissions to earn enough points to get a Core Membership, just to change my damn name. I've had this name since 7th grade and it is not at all professional. So, point commissions may be available soon! 

For other art and projects that are up and coming; I have a painting, a purse, a custom trinket, a custom belt pouch, and a cloak I need to get done. My goal for these is to have them done by the end of July. This will be fun. 
I still have a "YCH" sitting in my stash, I just don't have time to complete it yet, so I don't want to make it available. Not until I'm ready, that is. 
Farther on in my projects list, this next fall, I plan on learning to tan my own hides! I have several hunting friends and there is always busy butchers around throwing away scraps. So I have plenty of supply, is just getting all the containers and tools I'll need to do so. It'll be one hell of a learning process, but I can't wait to have a nice -cheap- supply of buckskin. It would be so damn useful. 

My Feline studies continue. I'll give myself a few more months, but then I'll move on. I just need to get into the habit of drawing every day! It's hard. That's for sure. I just need to carry a small sketchbook with me. Maybe that'll help. 

I tried. I like writing.
